Beeswax Food Wrap Single size

(10 customer reviews)

Beeswax food wraps are a sustainable alternative to plastic cling wrap. Foodwraps are reusable and last 1 or 2 years with proper care.

Beeswax Food Wraps are made with pre-washed 100% cotton, beeswax, pine resin and organic jojoba oil.

Send me a message and i will send you a photo if tee patterns I am using at the moment. I’ll custom make you pack of wraps or leave it for me to choose the patterns.

The wraps should last a year with proper care and can be composted after the end of their life. The beeswax, jojoba oil and pine resin have naturally high antibacterial and anti-microbial properties, creating a hygienic environment to store your food items.

26 x 28cm
20 x 20cm

AVAILABLE PATTERNS: floral, Australian native flowers, Australian native animals,  bees

How to use:
Simply mold the wrap to the top of the dish by using the warmth and pressure of your hands to create a seal. Use the same method for wrapping vegetables, fruit, snacks and sandwiches. Be creative, make a bag or a pouch with this wrap.
Do not use for meat, fish or greasy products. During the first few uses you might notice a fine residue on the bowls. It’s natural and can be washed off with warm soapy water.

Wash your wraps in cold water with a mild detergent/soap. Don’t pick the dried food off, but leave the wrap to soak for a few minutes in cold water until the food is soft enough to wash away.
Do not use warm or hot water to clean the wraps, as they will melt.

After washing, air dry, fold and store your food wraps in a drawer, away from direct sunlight or a heat source. In warmer weather beeswax wraps tend to get a little sticky, but this is nothing to worry about.

To freshen up your beeswax wrap, put it on the baking paper on a backing tray in the oven for 10 min at 80C every 6 months.

We use these every day. Perfect solution for wrapping fresh sourdough bread. But I use them for everything from covering a bowl of leftovers to wrapping half a lemon. They last for ages. I even composted an old one in my subpod worm farm cut up in strips. My worms loved it too😂

Nina’s beeswax wraps last for ages and the large ones are perfect for wrapping sourdough bread or a lettuce or large cut fruit eg rock melon or water melon. Recyclable packaging and excellent service as always. 👍

I absolutely adore my wraps from Nina. I’ve tried a few different brands but these are the best quality by far. Great small business to deal with and support 🙌🏼

Love my wraps. They are very good quality, extremely malleable without having to heat with your hands and pretty patterns. The extra touch of the hand written note was really sweet and reinforces you are supporting a local business full of heart and soul. As promised by Nina the wraps came in fully recyclable packaging and postage :). I would definitely recommend these to my friends and loved ones.
